In a move that probably doesn't surprise anyone, the Padres are placing Wil Myers on the 15-day DL, retroactive to May 11th. The outfielder / first baseman hasn't played since May 10th, when he first started to feel discomfort in his left wrist after sliding into third base. He was scratched from the lineup on May 12th after aggravating the injury during batting practice and had been listed as day-to-day since then. On May 13th, while the team was in Seattle to face the Mariners, Myers returned to San Diego to see a hand specialist and receive a cortisone shot.
