    Still had to pay him when his rookie scale contract was up.

    My point being that it's way better to have the guy be Dwight Howard and pay than to have nothing (or wasting draft picks on losers).

    But Leonard isn't even close to Dwight Howard. I mean it's not even close. Plus Howard was 3 years younger when he came into the league.

    So don't develop players. See if I care.

    Omer Asik sucked when he first joined the Bulls. It was only through getting playing time and coaching that he turned into a decent defensive player. He still needs a ton of work on offense, but at least he can contribute. People seem to think he's worth his pay.

    I don't know at all that Leonard isn't at least as good as Asik was.

    Just till his breakout and he proves he's a man. Once MyLe records his first double double or gets 5 blocks in a night, or elbows Garnett in the throat, that name goes away.
