Well.... 4 weeks has come and gone. We're into 5 weeks now. So wouldn't 6 weeks or beyond be "at worst?"
To be fair everyone was saying it's a 4-6 week recovery but the Blazers didn't want to hurt all the momentum they had gained with season ticket buyers and such with Nurk.
Also i am reading that they are upgrading him to a game time decision. Please keep with the positive vibes King. They might be working.
I'm trying. I don't think I can take it if he doesn't play though. So I'm trying to stay levelheaded.
They just need to win a game. Even if Nurk doesn't make it tonight. I know the magic can happen and they can get a win. They don't need to win the series tonight. Just one game.
Let's be real, without Nurkic Portland doesn't stand a chance against golden state. I'm ok with admitting another team is better.
Lets be real. Without Nurkic the Blazers will most certainly not really compete in a 7 game series. But they can get very hot and win a game at home. Even having him today if he can play at all will not make a huge difference. He is way out of shape by now. His minutes would have to be kept to a minimum. The only way the Blazers win a game today is to have Lillard and CJ hitting from all angles and having Aminu, Harkless and Vonleh scoring. Some help from the refs would be nice.....
The only way Portland wins without nurk is if literally everyone in the rotation plays well. The odds of that are somewhere down there I can't find it.
Let's jus win a game. I don't care how. Hopefully role players give us all they got. If some guys aren't ready to ball, the coach should just keep them on the bench and roll with guys who want to play tonight. I'm tired of us waiting for the E.T., A.C., Mo, Vonley and M.L. of the world to finally show up and play.
Effin 'A Cotton.... Effin 'A! Our other players have to show up this game. Last game our regulars acted like they got smacked around. Otherwise will still be talking about the Nurk and the season will be over.
