That is really funny you drew that parallel. My best friend growing up is now one of the antifa dicks in Portland. I’m pretty sure he is at all of these protests. I’ve talked about him on here before. He was actually into the LARP shit when we were in middle school. We gave him a lot of shit for it, maybe we shouldn’t have because apparently he’s doubled down on the idea. I think we just stumbled onto a pretty solid psychoanalysis.

I have no problem with these proud boyz and other white supremacists getting verbally and even violently beaten, but the frenetic nature of these confrontations means that innocent people will be hurt too. I want the law to protect everyone, even these white supremacists, But I also appreciate that some of these antifa are willing to put their liberty and health in jeopardy fighting against these nazi fucks. I don't condone, but I also wouldn't turn antifa in unless they attacked or hurt an innocent bystander. But punch a nazi, fine by me. hit them with a lead pipe or worse, much worse, fine by me as long as the violence is correctly directed and contained to these nazi fucks.
It never is though, that’s the thing. It’s complete chaos. The people getting hurt are always bystanders. Antifa basically run around throwing windmill punches as far as I can tell. They don’t discriminate, I will give them that. Anyone and everyone can catch a punch or a pipe to the head as far as they care. They are violent pricks, they are not out risking their neck for anyone besides themselves and their egos.

Antifa is by definition anti-fascists. Saying there is anything wrong about this is an insult to all the patriots that have given their life in World War 2 and since fighting fascist regimes. Clearly violence for violence sake is not something anyone should want or hope for - and it is clear that there are cases where innocents are hurt - but the same (innocent bystanders get hurt) could be said during world war 2 when fascist regimes were defeated - so saying that both sides are just as bad is hypocrisy at best imho. History has shown us that fascists need to be opposed. Plain and simple.
