We had about 20 kids come by for the 2 hours we were “open”. Normally we get 70-90. But it was a beautiful night to sit outside reading my book by porch light fairly uninterrupted. When I’d see kids coming up or down the street I would mask and glove up. We go kinda overboard with the yard decorations (and give out the big candy bars) so the neighborhood kids (and parents) know we’re going to be in business. The parents in particular seemed to appreciate it. This Halloween had everything going for it; On a Saturday night, picking up an hour, perfect weather, with a blue moon thrown in for good measure. And 2020 had to shit all over that too...... Edit: Best parent costume of the night was the Asian Colonel Sanders. He nailed it. He even had the chicken bucket.
