So you’d rather lose than win a ring??? Getting rid of Stotts is a higher priority than a championship?? This is the kind of “fandom” that needs to stay home. Jeezus, let it all play out before having a meltdown. Stotts owns a shit ton of real estate in too many SC2 heads, making him one of the biggest land owners in the state. But hoping the team loses just so they’ll get rid a the coach and a few lightning rod players is disturbing……and just plain wrong. You might as well just join the Lakers bandwagon.

You really think this team is going to win a championship the way it’s currently set up? Did you want me to say the best REALISTIC outcome?

Or, and hear me out, fans are being realistic towards what this team is going to accomplish this year?

40 members voted we would win another game this series....9 voted we wouldn't.....realistically it's 9 fans who doubt the teams ability to win and 40 who don't .....I'd guess those 9 fans are still talking about the Pelican series years ago as well...the Roco, Norman Powell pieces to our starting lineup are why I believe we can beat anybody. Realistically Stotts haters are banking on failure to achieve that old "I told you so" feeling.....I expect to win each game we face and accept when we don't ...that's based in reality. Reality is our coach of the month just coached a blowout against the MVP candidate when Dame couldn't throw a basketball in the ocean. We can beat anybody in this league as constructed if we execute.

“Fans” is short for fanatics. Fanatics are not, by definition “realistic”. If you believe in being “realistic”, quit watching the games. simple as that.

I'm generally pessimistic about the roster construction and the chances for this team to contend. But I still picked the Blazers to win in 6 because I believed the Denver injuries are just too much for them to overcome. Nuggets were the perfect 1st round match-up for this Blazer team

now, I'm leaning toward this series tracking the path of the 2019 series. Denver takes a 3-2 lead; Portland wins game 6, and then a game 7 in Denver

on the other hand, the pressure on Denver will be enormous in game 5 and they have to rely on Porter to have a great game. He could be too young for that kind of burden. Jokic vs Nurkic; Porter vs Powell; Campazzo vs Dame....looks like Portland has the edge in critical matchups

Actually, I wish you and and a few others here would keep it zipped until it ends however it ends. You might get pleasure out of being a downer but it sucks for the rest of us who believe in the team/try to keep it all in perspective. I just want to enjoy being in the playoffs after an otherwise fucked up and discombobulated past year. I look for my pleasures where I can find them….and try to appreciate them while I can. You and the other “fans” suck the joy right out of the game with the constant negativity. I took a quick peek at the game thread while the Blazers were up by 30 and thought I had wandered into a Denverfan boys site. Disgusting.

I wasn’t even in the thread last night. Maybe that was you posting love letters on Reddit?

What ever happened to "Take me out to the Ball Game" spirit. Its an NBA game that is built around FANtastic where the game supposed to be enjoyed with family and friends! WIN or lOSE
There can be a middle ground as a fan and supporter of the team.
If everyone would put their GM mask's away and just enjoy the game and playoffs it would be therapeutic in a positive way. WIN or LOSE

People experience hobbies in different ways. I don't know why this bothers some of you so much. Why do you care how others experience the NBA?

Because you ruin it for the rest of us (you and Trappani or whatever Tunchi calls himself these days). What is so hard to understand about that?? We don’t share your negativity and have no desire to. Yeah, I can quit reading forum posts if it bothers me, just as you can quit posting if the Blazers bother you so much. So how ‘bout we do each other (and a lot of other folks) a favor and just enjoy it while we can? We’ll have the entire summer to whine, cry and go at each other’s throats if and when it all goes south. I just don’t get rooting for your team to lose under ANY circumstances. They still have at least 2 games yet to play…….

The negativity just gets old. Ever been around a person that was habitually negative and always tried to prove something wrong, gets old.

Because watching us treadmill isn't enjoyable. We know how it ends. Having a team that isn't contending isn't what bothers me. It's having a team that isn't contending and doesn't seem to want to make any significant changes to improve our shot at contending. Switching around the upholstery or the paint color doesn't make the car run better. You have to either improve the engine or change the driver. But I'm not going to stop posting just because it bothers you.

    Nor will I quit calling out the constant negativity because it bothers you…..or anyone else. But I genuinely find it more than funny that you make statements such as;

“People experience hobbies in different ways. I don't know why this bothers some of you so much. Why do you care how others experience the NBA?”

But you’re the guy who teed off on us (fans ourselves) for our “blind loyalty” because our opinions run counter to yours and it really jacks you off, obviously. You don’t want to hear any “Pollyanna” (which is what any pro Blazers comments apparently are to you) whatsoever. So you obviously are bothered by “how others experience the NBA” yourself, ironically enough. And that’s okay. We’re experiencing the Blazers in OUR own ways. And if positive comments spoil your fun, that’s on you. If you don’t want to hear positive Blazer thoughts, then put the real fans on ignore and wallow in misery with the rest of the so called experts. I’d put all the Negative Nancies on ignore but there’s just been too damn many of them lately. Blazer related threads would take about a minute and a half to get through, if that. This must be how “fan sites” slowly wither and die…….

Pretty sure @THE HCP is one of a kind, thankfully.

I think that this series, with Murray, Barton and Dozier all sidelined, should go to the Blazers. The Joker is still a wildcard who could flip it to the Nuggets, but he has to be on top of his game and get Nurk in foul trouble. If Nurk can do anything close to what he did yesterday, the Nuggets are toast.
