Yes it works! http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=q68hoj2 And the reason why CJ in Philly might work is MCW is a big guard, while CJ is a small guard. T. Rob would be the perfect compliment to Noel. They would still be able to tank... As for Denver, we would probably have to include our first rounder. This would be a big time salary cap move. Maybe instead of Afflalo, they may only give Chandler. Either way, Chandler and Wroten would be a nice wing combo off the bench.
Dude mags read that article Scalma posted. It is In Line with what I was saying earlier which a lot of people (ironically Scalma was one of them) argued. The players don't want this team to be broken up. They are definitely not trading 4 or 5 players...
(long drawn out whistle) Im not saying good or bad but there is your gamble on chemistry right there. 5 players out is huge. Doing that and signing Oneal and Prince would certainly be interesting Lets see. Starters: PG Dame SG Wes SF Nic PF LMA C Rolo Bench: PG: Blake, Wroten SG: Afflalo SF: Prince, Wright PF: Freeland, Leonard C: Kaman, ONeal
They definitely aren't but olshey better not sit tight just because the players say so. If he sits still I would hope it's because he thinks guys like Crabbe/McCollum will earn more minutes which would eliminate the need (it's a need right now)for another wing scorer
I edited it for only 2. The main rotational piece is only CJ and T. Rob, but both aren't playing a ton of minutes.
oddly enough, I'll take lil Nate off the waivers. Solid scorer off the bench next to Blake, and imagine those 5-10 mins a game when he and Dame are both on the floor at the same time. Just a scary outlook for defenses. And you just KNOW that he will win a game by himself in the playoffs.
I'm not happy about Neil's comments about not making a move for chemistry's sake. The chemistry with the first unit is crucial but you can afford to gamble on guys coming off your bench. We should absolutely be looking to bolster our bench with at least one scoring SG/SF. Afflalo or K-Mart would fit the bill.
No way do I take Nate Robinson on this team. Too disruptive of a personality, and totally wrong style of play. I'd rather bake it with the known compatible ingredients we have.
Sounds a little to me like this is coming more from Paul Allen and although we are very lucky to have an owner like him this would come to me as no surprise. I remember hearing something similar from KP when he was here.
This is what the Hoopshype rumblings look like this morning. There are rumblings from NBA general managers that Michael Carter-Williams is available, according to ESPN.com ... Sixers to sign Larry Drew to a 10-day contract ... Blazers interested in Wilson Chandler ... Andray Blatche returning to the NBA this season? ...
Wouldn't surprise me if DEN put that POR and LAC thing out there to get the two to bid against each other.
The clipper are a team that should stop making moves. They keep messing with their roster and it hasn't worked for them. Actually I think their core is flawed so they can make all the moves they want but I don't think it will help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No way you're going to get this General Manager to pull the trigger on that big of a deal and change to the lineup.
If they can find a way to ad a vet on the cheap and for a year, someone like Prince. That is the most likely scenario.
I say yes only for playoff purposes. I still don't think Leonard is ready to play solid D against some of the more aggressive, stronger bigs in the league. Realistically that would be the best situation for O'Neal as well, keep the legs fresh and play him only when there is a need, and keep the minutes down.
