Its Paul Allen, he can always open the checkbook if there's someone we want to grab in the late 1st.

I would rather give them CJ but we have to remember that we are a win now team, not a rebuilding team.

Cj WAS a lottery pick, maybe Denver values him more than Crabbe.

CJ would be giving them more. We would be losing more trading CJ away

They would rather have CJ than Crabbe. I don't like giving them CJ actually

People wanted to strait cut Crabbe last year (look how that would have turned out) and now people want to trade CJ. Patience pays off with our young guys.

Only players I am giving them if I am Olshey is Claver and TRob. Take it or leave it. I am fine if you leave it.

If were giving up a 1st, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have to give up crabbe or cj as well. Dorell or Trob

This, with the exception of giving them our first rounder.

That's how I see it. I don't like CJ at all, and would LOVE to see us trade him. But even with my low opinion of him I think we can do better than Chandler - especially if we're include a draft pick of any sort.
Robinson, Wright, Barton, and Claver are all very easy to part with though.

Other than John Schuman, where is this rumor being reported?

Yep. Agreed. I didn't say 1st rounder in my post for a reason.

I think we "lose" little trading CJ as I have little hope for him to amount to much

Playing only the equivalent of half a season? Really?

yes really, he's a tweener with little PG skills and I prefer Crabbe longer term so lets move him while he may have some decent value

Lotto pick doesn't mean squat if the player doesn't perform like one.

I still have yet to see anything from Crabbe, CJ, or Claver to think that any one of the 3 are more than fringe NBA players. T-Rob and Barton have shown a little more, but their status is tenuous at best too. If you can trade any one of the 5 for a solid rotational player - you do it.

With all those consistent minutes he's gotten right? Just because I don't like him doesn't mean I believe he's gotten a real shot. His game is just repetitive in Portland. He's a ball dominant guard. He needs to be elsewhere where can have the opportunity to be just that.

I haven't played any games yet.... So I must have unlimited potential.

Good players find a way to force their way onto the court. This is CJ's third year. He has shown little to no improvement and when he's been on the court, I don't see the skill set to be any more than a 9th/10th man in a rotation.
