After his brutal hit on Brent Seabrook. This is just the latest in the spree of high hits going on in the NHL. This hit was brutal, but not as bad as the Cooke on Savard hit. Oh I was furious during this game. Seabrook had a legit hit on Perry(?). He was doing his defensive job. Wisniewski came off the bench, across the ice to jump and hit Seabs head off the glass. This is the second hit on a Hawk defender that has put them out, first Ovi on Campbell, and now Wisniewski on Seabs. Fuck this shit.
Did Seabrook get a concussion there? immediately after the hit he looked really out of it but back on the bench he seemed to regain his senses.
Yeah, second of the season. Boyton and Hendry are doing decently filling in for Campbell and Seabs atm. and... Side note, Seabs is supposed to be in Wisniewski wedding. Weird shit, eh?
That was clearly a running shot to the head with no attempt to be playing the puck or anything. It is hockey, though, and players will retaliate for hard hits on their teammates. This is over the line, clearly.
The new rule seems to differ. Oh yeah, the Ovi hit on Campbell set way for a new rule, which got Wisniewski, hard.
