Is that relevant to us though? We don't have a Giannis, or really any legitimate reason to expect we may obtain a player of that caliber.

Nor do we have path toward picking up a healthy, All Star MVP level Dame, for that matter...

Over Under: Blazers on National TV next season - 20 games?

national games don't reach China. The signal isn't that strong. There might be a slight uptick in Chinese-American viewership, but you're overrating the Yang factor if you think the Blazers will have 20 national games next season, IMO; there was one this season IIRC

Hansen has had a ton of hype in Portland but it is not the same elsewhere, like in Boston or LA of Florida or Texas. I'd wonder about a partnership between Blazer Broadcasting and China TV

In two weeks since acquiring Yang, the Blazers media has added 3 million new fans...the franchise has reportedly added 2 billion in value as well. One of the smartest marketing moves in the NBA

Rupert Murdoch airs NBA games all over Asia on the Star TV network and it's even been rumored NBA fans there are Also pretty good at illegal streaming. In Taiwan I could see 2 NBA games every Sunday On TTV. Basketball is huge in Asia and they're not as isolated as you think..national games do reach there...I watched Michael Jordan against Clyde Drexler many times over there on TV...all the playoff games every year as well.

wut?...2B in value? That doesn't seem credible

Blazers were worth 3.6B on June 24th and are worth 5.6B now?....not buying it

    OK.

That doesn't have much to do with the 'national' game schedule on ESPN/ABC nad NBC/Peacock I was thinking about. I don't know if Amazon Prime reaches China

I didn't think you'd buy it...it's pretty expensive. 3 Yang SL games brought in 150 mil in Chinese marketing profits...that's just the beginning....we've tapped into a gold mine with the Yang signing.

The NBA is fucking up by letting them harass him so much! He's the GOAT!

"2B increase in the value of the Blazers"?

    "150M in marketing profits"?

where are you getting these numbers from?

There was all 30 teams so what 300 players. Not sure any centers would ever be in the top.

Yang had an excellent summer league with plenty of recognition. Top team ranking isn't needed.
