If a team is looking to go really small he could also play Center. The position that players Mathurin's size most commonly play is the 2.

He’d basically be Norm at SF. Shorter wingspan, higher reach

Jaylen Brown came in much stockier then either yet has been primarily a 2 guard his entire NBA career... thats where I'd project Sharpe and Mathurin to primarily play too

Eh.... he's not three inches taller. He's like 1.5 inches taller without shoes.

Sorry, 2 inches. I thought he was 6'3.5 but he was 6'3 flat.

Edit - nope... I was right. Mathurin is 6'4.5 and Powell was 6'3. So 1.5 inches.

He’s an inch and a half taller with a shorter wingspan

Norman Powell measured 6'3 barefoot at the 2015 combine. Mathurin measured 6'4.5"

I stand corrected. I was looking at Powell's height in shoes and thought it was without. Misread the tables-- apologies.

Nassir Little measured 6.'4.5" w/o shoes and 6'6" w/ shoes and 8'8" standing reach. All the same as Mathurin (though Little has a 4" longer wingspan). That being said. I'm out on Mathurin. His defensive awareness was brutal in college. I don't see him as an answer for this team.

Little also weighed 20 pounds more then Mathurin, which is helpful if you're trying not to get steamrolled.

    Steamrolling is an offensive foul.

Exactly. I don't get the love for him.

Not when you play matador defense...

Most scouts rank him higher as a SG. I read somewhere that he preferred to play SG as well and felt that was the best position for him.

That's fine. List him as a SG.

I sure hope we don't draft AJ. If we stay put I really hope we get either Keegan or Shaedon. If we trade back I like Duren or Sochan (depending how far we go back).
