Not interested in thybulle. He’s 25 and still can’t shoot, which means he probably won’t ever.

great D, sure, but finding good defensive players that can’t shoot isn’t hard. Stanley joshson, Winslow, etc—these guys are cheap for a reason.

Ahh that’s right, I forget. Well regardless, we’d still have to send out Bledsoe. So with Thybulle fitting in the TPE, how much cap space are we actually left with? Will there be enough for more than just the MLE after re-signing Ant and Nurk?

If there is, I’m increasingly more excited for free agency and the rest of draft night.

Disagree. Nobody said he has to finish games. We desperately need defense. Getting him for nothing would be a definite positive. He still has room to get better.

Well, if we re-signed him for 4 yrs/$40-45m, would you be more interested? Through three years, he’s already 2x All Defense. His shooting can only improve. The spacing and offense will be much better here than PHI. If it doesn’t cost much or at all, which looks to be the case, you’ve just found your on ball stopper for the next half decade for nothing. It cost you 2 1sts for Covington as a reminder.

We never truly had cap space to begin with. We would had to have renounce Nurk, Simons, and hart to get $60mil. Once we make our picks, resign Nurk and simons. We are in a solid spot. A MLE signing will bring even greater depth

They aren't All-NBA defenders though. Thybulle is.

    Totally disagree

You trade for him solely for his defense. A specialist.

He’s coming off a season where he was on the All-Defensive 2nd team.

You make this deal strictly on how much he gets under Westbrick’s and Morant’s skin IMO

I also wanted Gobert and Giannis in 2013! You can see my posts on it at Blazers Edge. I also agree Sharpe is the darkhorse mega-steal of this draft. I don't know if he is able to turn the corner and deliver, but he has the talent. What do you think about Sochan if we pick up a later pick? Sochan, Duren, and Jovic are my "after #7" picks in this draft to be real steals. Curious about your thoughts on these guys.

Thybulle for nothing? I know they want a 3rd team involved but defense for nothing... How do you say no?

    Saying no would be… in-defense-able?
