He's good, but i don't see Mathurin good. Talking about this years JD. Johnny D was awesome for our Blazers in '77. He was my 1st favorite Blazer.

Eason officially measured 6’8 in shoes with 7’2 wingspan, nice size and length

I don't trust 'in-shoes' measurements because I've seen the shoes add anywhere from 1 to 2.5 inches

    that's pure deflection

measure these guys without shoes so there is a standard gauge

Maybe , but Sochan looks more fluid on his outside shot. Eason moves like a center . But he's undersized for that role. That being said, Murray is the guy who i think the Blazers may pick if he falls. But Mathurin is so intriguing.

Must be a reason they dont, maybe theres a standard in shoes. Cant be that much variance in shoes?

as I said, I've seen a variance of between and 1 inch and 2.5 inches. If you have a guy who is 6'6, in shoes, with that variance he could be 6'5 or as small as 6'3.5. That's just too wide a variance.

some players will also have orthotic inserts. I have inserts for planter fasciitis that add 3/4". And I probably have 1'5" soles on my boots/shoes
