I love how Sheppard can play off the ball and also create any shot he wants. Possibly the best shooter coming out in a few years. Tenacious D too. Just watch the offs and see that shooting is #1 priority.

Totally agree with you on highlight packages. All these “Scoot is a bust” people obviously don’t watch my Scoot highlight packs that look like he’s heading straight to the HOF!

Buzelis, Rissacher, Knecht, Williams, Castle, Holland. I’d be ok with any of these guys. I just can’t stand another year of tanking. I wish there was a way for the NBA to penalize teams for doing it.

It's not tanking if you're not good. None of these players make us a play-in team next season. We need one more year of being bad and hopefully we can ascend from there.

I've always said keep the lotto for the top four picks but reverse the odds. The three teams finishing with the best records missing the playoffs get the best odds followed by the fourth and so on. The team with the worst record in the league then likely gets the fifth pick. I think most teams would then try to win every game that they could because it would give them a better chance at landing one of the top four picks.

If that’s all you meant I apologize. But tone doesn’t come off very well through text.

He’s the guy that I could see moving up for.

I know nothing about Ware but damn his measurables and production are good. Worth seeing if there is something there. You can’t teach talent.

Especially with his production off ball. Obvious fit. I dont think he makes it past 4. We gotta get to the Rockets at 3.

I don't think that a Scoot/Sheppard back court is what we'd be banking on, if we drafted Sheppard. I think we'd be hoping that Sharpe would be the 2, and that Scoot and/or Sheppard would turn out to be a perennial all-star type of guy. We currently have none of those on our roster, and as much as I like Scoot there's no guarantees there. If both of them turn out to be awesome, either they can start together or you move one for value elsewhere.

If there is a prospect on par with Sheppard but who's a bigger body, then I'd probably prefer that, but with Sheppard being such an anomaly in advanced stats and the lack of certainty with other prospects, he's currently a guy I'm most interested in if he's there at 7 in spite of the lack of fit.

But who even knows if he lasts that long. I don’t think Atlanta will take him but I have no idea what Washington will do.

I watched him every game as a freshman and none of the games this year. As I said before he got a bad rep at Oregon for not being aggressive enough. IMO he was just not ready but there was never a doubt in my mind that the skills and athleticism were there. He obviously played much better at Indiana this year. I would take him at 14 if our other targets are gone. He reminds me a little of Jermaine O'Neal.

Is anyone else a bit surprised that Shawn Kemp hasn't had a kid in the NBA draft yet?

11 kids with 10 different women, you'd think one of them would make the Association.

His numbers at Indiana are good, and his measurements are very good. Can he be a stretch four? Could be a steal at 14 if he has aggression and some physicality to his game.

Any numbers on Sheppard out of Kentucky? Not interested in him, just curious in comparison to his teammates.

Both teams have way too many wings they've recently drafted.

I thought Sarr could because his handles are decent for his size . But Ware at the 4 would be more situational. Defensively he could do it.
