Fine. Have your belief, blue. Your privilege. Just don't force it on my body. Or any other woman's. You can try to tell a woman that one broken condom means she's ready to be a mother. You can tell the woman with two kids and a minimum wage job she can handle one more. You can tell a woman whose life saving medication causes featl abnormalities she can give up the meds. You can tell a woman who discovers at 5 months her much wanted child is missing most of the brain. You can tell them it's their duty as incubators. That's your right. Any woman wants to listen to you, she can. Just don't enforce it as law. How much jail time should a woman get? In some countries it's 25 years. Is that enough?
Oh sure, blame me (or people like me) for a persons irresponsible sex life ... got it! --- "broken condom" seriously? That is a complete shit excuse to get an abortion. Some of your examples are great examples of why I think it should be okay; Except, the shit about a minimum wage job having more and the medication one. Here's an idea.... If you can't support more kids, STOP HAVING SEX! If you're on medication that causes birth defects DON'T GET PREGNANT, meaning DON'T have sex. Birth control is not 100% effective! Christ those two things are such irresponsible behavior... and then to sit there and point fingers at Repubs? That's rich.
I'm voting for Gary Johnson again, I voted for him in 2012. He isn't perfect, but he is so much better than the other two it's not even close. Trump would appeal to me if he didn't pander so hard to racists and bible thumpers, that's a real turn off.
I will say one "nice" thing about him. So far he's the only one of the major two party candidates who seems to express any moral clarity about the real threat ISIS and Jihadism/Islamism poses to liberal democracies. The trouble is he's like a doctor who looks at the patient and nails the pneumonia diagnosis and then loudly proclaims, "let's amputate!"
So it's the fault of people who don't agree with abortion that women are having sex when clearly they shouldn't if they don't want kids? I don't want to shoot myself in the head, so I won't play Russian Roulette. Don't even get me started on me paying for it through taxes. All that being said, while I don't agree with it, it's not my right to tell a woman what to do with her body. However, I shouldn't be forced to pay for it.
And that should be a pretty important consideration that doesn't seem to be much of the conversation so far. It's not meaningless to say that Hillary is a liar or Trump is a con man or Johnson is a stoner... but those things aren't the only things we should be considering here. barfo
That's what all the fine arguments come down to in the end. Slut, you should have kept your legs crossed. It's not about seriously thinking a fertilized egg is a baby. It's sex is a sin, for women, and women must be punished. It's about "little girl, if you play, you have to pay". No one, of course, tells the man to abstain.
Are you serious here? It takes two to have sex. If the family unit, or the relationship of the people having sex, can't support a baby then they should not have sex. Abstain for BOTH parties. There should be no thoughts of "Oh, its the mans fault I'm pregnant, and now I gotta kill the baby because we cant afford it and he couldn't keep is pants on." "Oh, Oops! we got pregnant and I'm on crazy strong medicine that can cause birth defects so I gotta abort the baby, because we're both irresponsible." "Oh, Oops! Broken condom... I'm pregnant! Now because we can't support a kid I should just go kill it instead.". I mean the list goes on and it's just ludicrous that you think that type of behavior is okay. People (both men and women) need to take responsibility for their actions. Abortion shouldn't be an avenue for shitty irresponsible people. That type of procedure should be reserved for the emergency cases (rape, abuse, etc). Edit: the above is my opinion. not calling you out specifically Crandc.
