    respectfully disagree. though it was pretty bubblegummish and predictable. star trek updated with modern movie character and plot cliches. also the spock time travel plotline seemed a little too illogical : )

    I sort of think so as well. Often when the star leaves early due to injury the team has to change it's rotation and struggles before finding its balance. Granted we don't have much talent, but we're at home and I'm hopeful.

    Agreed. After watching some TOS for the first time in years, the 2009 movie just feels right. Fun, enthusiastic, and true to the spirit of the show & characters. Best Star Trek movie since Galaxy Quest. :D
