    New York Daily News - Sources indicated the Wizards might be prevented from matching the Knicks' offer to Jared Jeffries because the contract would place them right at the luxury tax threshold. The New York Times reports though that all indications are that the Wizards intend to match the offer.

    Jesus this is the 4th thread about Jeffries. I've said the same thing every time, we shouldn't sign him. As you've just posted it will take us at the threshold which is somewhere we dont want to be if we want to go ahead and sign deshawn stevenson which is something that would be in our best interest at this point.

    This would defintely free up Jeffries to head to NY.
