This is disgusting. We let one of the worst offensive teams in the NBA score 128 tonight on our home court. We've lost 3 in a row and are having a disappointing season. Outside of Gilbert Arenas, there has not been one consistent brightspot for us this year. We've given up 120+ points in two games straight. It's time to make some changes, get some help around Arenas. I think it's time to fire Eddie Jordan and to look to trade Antawn Jamison. Gilbert Arenas Over the Last Two Games: Against Miami: 47 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists. He was 15-29 from the field, 4-9 from three, and 13-14 from the free throw line. Against Houston: 44 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists. He was 13-25 from the field, 5-10 from three, and 13-16 from the free throw line. That's an average of 45.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 6.5 apg. He has shot 52% from the field, 47% from three, and 87% from the free throw line. There is no reason the team should've lost either one of those games. He's playing his heart and soul out, diving for lose balls, playing defense, and keeping the Wizards alive. If it wasn't for him, these games would've been TOTAL BLOWOUTS. Trade Scenarios How about Al Harrington? Ship Atawn Jamison to Atlanta for a package involving Al Harrington? The Wizards were interested a couple of years ago in him and I don't think he'd be to hard to get. He averages almost 19 and 7, one more point and 3 less boards than Jamison. A package of Tony Delk, Royal Ivey, and Al Harrington would work. How about giving some other people some chances. Take Jared Jeffries out of the starting lineup because he's horrendous. We recently called Andrey Blatche up from the D league, why not giving him a try? What's the worst that could happen, a non-existant offensive presence? Jeffries already gives us that. We need to get some pieces around Arenas, and fast. I think anybody but Arenas, Caron, and Blatche are expendable because this roster isn't working. We had a 3 game winning streak when we first inserted Caron into the starting lineup this year, but we've negated that with a current 3 game losing streak. Things need to be done, before the trade deadline, if this team has any hopes of making a playoff push.
