<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ice:</div><div class="quote_post">Hmm, what are those reasons? If she's hot, why not? I have no idea what she looks like - but if she can pull it off then go for it. More power to her. I hate that crap when people say it's denigrating to women and their body - but half those people are probably jealous because they know they can't pull it off. Two words: Paris Hilton</div> I dont think that it was bad publicity for her, she is more known now...if anything it did her more good..

Whats wrong with a little ass? Anyways, I personally dont think WNBA players should pose nude, because most of them are butt ugly.

They can make almost any woman look gorgeous with a ton of make up and body paints like they do in Playboy and many other mags. The best looking female is the one that doesn't need to hide her face with a ton of make up.

What a surprise. but ah I had a av like that but had to get rid of it. Oh well, who's that anyways. And like everybody else concerning this topic, it shouldn't mattered that she posed nude. Besides, WNBA women don't get no where close to what the men get.

What I find I guess disturbing is that her parents supported it and were pretty happy that she posed in the mag. I guess if its an honor is Australia, but still I find that odd. I can understand her teammates supporting it moreso than her mom and dad. http://sports.espn.go.com/wnba/news/story?...artnersite=espn <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">My mom and dad loved it.</div> - Lauren Jackson <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I think it is very well done, Storm coach Anne Donovan said. I have seen a few of the pictures, and I must say I have no problems with it all. They are all very tastefully done, she looks naturally good in all of them and it's only going to promote Australian basketball. Good on her I say.

I realize that it's probably not every Fathers dream to know that "his little girl" has naked pictures for all the world to see. However, it is every Fathers dream to see his little girl has all the happiness she desires. If she's confortable with it, then they should be also, IMO.
Screw Lauren Jackson. Its time for Sue Bird to pose naked. Btw, the front cover alone is so air-brushed its not even funny.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kaillou:</div><div class="quote_post">Screw Lauren Jackson. Its time for Sue Bird to pose naked. If you have that sort of a sexist attitude, then go off and look up pornography on the net - there's plenty of it. IMO Jackson should be applauded for what she has done, as she is doing it for the right reasons. She shouldn't be subject to comments like that.
The argument is going to be this......Once you decide to become a celebrity in the public eye, YOU ARE A ROLE-MODEL. Remember when Iverson wanted to come out with a rap record? They jumped all over him. He didn't want to be a role-model, but once you sign that dotted line, you are one. All of the endorsements and accolades push you further into the light. Women (for the most part) may say that they believe that the WNBA should not allow this and players should'nt want to do this because your a role-model for little girls, and they (the players) should be as positive as they can be, and posing nude objectifies them.
She has got a lot to show so..............why da hell not to pose any whay she wants........she's hot...
