    Publicity for the NBA and empowering girls sports are two great aspects. The marketing can help the NBA generate more money itself, so while the WNBA directly losses money, it could indirectly contribute to more money for the entire NBA portfolio. The WNBA money losses are so insignificant compared to total NBA revenue. Yes the league needs to manage how much the WNBA losses, but it certainly doesn't need to try to completely eliminate those losses.
