    If we could trade CJ/Zach/1st for a 1 year rental of AD then get Tatum and a 1st from Boston at next seasons deadline if Davis doesn’t wanna resign you do it without hesitation. I’d trade CJ and a 1st for Tatum right now.

    Dunno--AD won't be a starter, so Giannis will actually have first shot at drafting him. Seems like a no-brainer pick for him.

    That just turns into Davis > Dame? Which feels like a coin toss when you factor in health and leadership, and on its own probably not worth the gamble.

    Once again, New Orleans has brought this on themselves. They have failed to even build a team around him that can make the playoffs 50% of the time. At least in Portland we've made the playoffs 5 out of 6 years and about to be 6 out of 7.

    it was inevitable that Blazer fans began thinking Portland could get into the AD sweepstakes after the news.

    it won't happen, but looking at some of these trade fantasies, it makes my fantasy involving Paul Allen's yacht, gold bullion, a desert island, and Gal Gadot seem almost realistic....thanks guys!

    I think there is a less than 1% chance pdx gets Davis, therefore it’s time for Neil to do what he does best and go into scavenger mode. Start picking up the scraps, from teams like New Orleans, that might not matter much to them anymore and be a little cheaper than before ADs trade demand.

    I think its more likely we see AD, Dame and LBJ in LA then its likely we even have the assets to keep NO on the phone for more then 30 seconds to try get AD....

    Yes, if one is your own player. Boston can't because they traded for Kyrie and you can only trade for one.

    Also, AD by requesting a trade is losing his chance at getting a Super Max on his next contract.
