You sure about that? He’s become so hell bent on them staying together. You get on the phone and offer anybody but dame. Watching dame and him together would be insane. That’s a matchup nightmare for any squad

I don't think he would but we'll never find out.

Philadelphia are really a strong contender here. I would also give Toronto a shot, they are desperate to make it and their young assets are better than Lakers young assets IMO.

    Future assets:
    Four future 1sts (2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025)
    Collins
    Simons
    Trent

    Marginal assets:
    Layman
    Aminu

    Top notch assets:
    Nurkic
    McCollum

I would give up all future assets and marginal assets if needed. I would only give up one of Nurkic or McCollum unless AD signed an extension on the spot.

I guess there is no point even to make a phone call since Ainge can easily promise them for summer Tatum, Brown+their 100 1sts which beats any offer we can make with our very late 1st rounders. This is simply a case that is out of our reach, we don't have the assets. I mean Tatum easily is more valuable than CJ+Nurkic since they will get into a deep rebuilding proccess.

I’m not saying I know, I’m just saying what has Neil shown us that would lead us to believe he would offer cj up

No. I didn't know that. We should probably keep a running spread sheet to be downloaded on everybody's feelings on Neil and Terry.

I see them waiting for Boston. They would be dumb not to wait.

You never paid attention to who started the "I'm sick and tired of Neil Olshey thread"?

Portland probably has no chance here, but damnit Neil, at least try. Go all-in.

No. Sorry. I might have added something to it but the only time I make a note of somebody creating a thread is when HCP bitches and complains he could have done a better job.

I love, some of the Reddit threads start with Davis + Holiday for Couple of So So Players and EVERY DRAFT PICK TILL THE END OF TIME!

Shut him down for the rest of season and listen to offers in the offseason, it's the only logical choice for Pels.

Although I believe we have zero chance at landing AD I do wonder if this will set off a chain reaction of other teams making larger moves and that in turn allows us to get another star or near star level player that may not have been availability previously. As mentioned by others I absolutely refuse to get my hopes up that we have any shot as Davis. CJ AND Nurk is pointless. Unless you believe that attracts a 3rd star later that we probably won't be able to afford.

Once Lebron made it known he wasn't going to wait around for the young guys to get better or put up with a young coach for that matter, it was only a matter of time before they went after AD. He's not going to spend his last few peak years being surrounded by anything but the best.
