Woohoo the Blazers traded an aging No. 25 pick for a young No. 9 pick plus a good sixth man S.G. Also traded small for big.

    Win! :)

You are probably correct, Tellem maybe with the Pistons now.

The list I checked still listed Tellem and also a second agent, Thaddeus Foucher with the Wasserman Media Group. I am not sure if that information is correct, but it is the best I can find. Sorry for the miss-info, I am not sure who Olshey negotiated with in the Henderson trade.

The draft BEFORE the draft is suspicious. OTOH, trading for someone with the same agent as Aldridge is also suspicious.

    At any rate:

I just did the calculation. Turns out that 23% of the state is high school basketball players.

So I signed the papers to become an agent and I move there tomorrow.

Smart move. 15% of 23% is a lot of money.

Interestingly, both Henderson and Vonlay had higher PER last season than batum...

I really really don't think that was lost on Olshey. Not saying he's a PER Only guy, but Nic's season last year was awful.

I hear you. Just was an interesting tidbit that's all. PER can be looked at a number of different ways.

    Totally.

Looking at Vonleh's stats, they were actually favorably comparable to Nic's pre-ASG stats. Like, shooting % and 3Pt%. Plus, and I like this, his DRtg (102) is lower than Charlotte's overall DRtg (103.5), which is pretty good news for his potential. Also, his ORtg (99) was about in line with Charlotte's ORtg (100.1), which says his "underachieving" might have more to do with the Hornets than with him.

He's a total project, but young and surrounded byKim Hughes and his Big Men Success Stories.

Random Tidbit: The trade might not be done. There is reason to exchange draft picks after the draft. So, it's possible that the blazers magically trade $$ for their 2nd rounder.

Which raises a whole new question.

Top ten pick on a weak team and has a decent PER....and he couldn't get any minutes. What's missing?

Offensive Rating: basically how many points a team or player would score in 100 possessions. In the case of players, if they were the shooter in 100 possessions, how many points would they score.

As in why he didn't play? He was stuck behind two PFs and three C's on the team. Maybe the coach has trust issues, and tried riding starters to the playoffs?
