Olshey: We are undersized in our back-court. We have some length on the wings but Aminu is smaller. We are loaded with shooters (really?) so we needed a physical presence. Stotts is comfortable with this type of player like what we had with Lopez. We have the youngest roster in the league and a lot of depth. We are probably closer to the team we thought we would be than where we are now.

Woj: Okafor didn't get moved and you got Nurkic a week ago. Did getting that deal done early maximize your value?

Olshey: When the deal is there and it's fair for both teams, you make the move. Tim and I in Denver like doing business together. As Bobby said, we don't have as much flexibility in Free Agency. Sometimes holding out for more is an opportunity cost of missing out entirely. I think Tim and I maximized the value of what we were both able to get.

I'm sure Tim in Denver likes doing business with Neil. He has taken him to school.

Unless the curse of big men's knees on the Blazers continues then hard to see that happening this time.
