So he's got 4 years on his deal before the PO. Ant and Nurk do as well. I guess the Blazers can technically pivot to Ant completely at that point? I doubt Dame would turn down 64 million dollars at age 36 though...
Chris Haynes has built his reputation well and gone far in the last few years. I think he’s well respected by players around the league. Cool to see him get the news like Woj
I had his numbers at: 22-23: 42.492 23-24: 45.64 24-25: 48.79 25-26: 52.69 26-27: 56.91 (PO) Not sure how they're getting to 122. This comes to 5yr, 247.
Love Dame, but there is no way he is worth that at age 35/36. I know, loyalty, leadership, and all that, but at some point, for it to be worth it, doesn't that need to translate into post-season success? Likely, I'll take a bashing for this, but I've just seen too many franchises hang on to their players and the contracts end up hamstringing the franchise. I suppose it is one thing if that player has brought relevance and titles, but that isn't close to being the case here.
Your wrong TB -- Players are able to keep themselves much more fit and in shape then EVER before -- well right and wrong -- NO PLAYER is worth this but in terms of the NBA and how things go -- he is worth every Dame Dolla
