If Barnes leaves and the Warriors don't sign Durant, Jared Dudley will go to Golden State. Guaranteed.
There are people 'around' Durant that would like him to move out from OKC. There are some execs at Nike that would like nothing more than for Durant to go to GS and dull some of the shine off of Curry and his deal with Under Armour.
No one has posted to this thread for 2 hours because Woj has barely posted for 2 hours. The opening post should have given the link that the thread is all about. http://www.sportstwo.com/posts/3930933/ directs you to https://twitter.com/TheVertical?ref_src=twsrc^tfw The live telecast that posters were talking about in this thread. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/watch--the-vertical-nba-free-agency-show-213116280.html
It used to be (it began when we got Olshey) that Olshey and 3 or 4 other GMs showed up at doorsteps at midnight (not for interviews, just to drop off offer paperwork with the butler while the player was in his underwear sleeping off his hangover). Now half the teams obtain real midnight job interviews in suits at a long mahogany table (fully grained), and don't wait for daylight. Also, it used to be just Olshey and Allen (which was impressive enough, because most rich owners couldn't be bothered to leave their partying and tax-lobbying). Tonight Stotts and Lillard were there, too.
The Woj cast ended at 10:30 or 11 it was only around 2hr, also did I miss where he or anyone said we had our time with Whiteside tonight? I thought we only had a meeting with Chandler Parsons?
The telecast is repeating its broadcast right now, last I checked. You are right. I mixed up Parsons and Whiteside (the Twitter site kept going back and forth with news about each). The Blazers did not meet tonight with Whiteside. In fact, the experts keep saying that it's between Dallas and Miami, and don't mention Portland.
