Overview - After playing great in their first two preseason games, the Wolves took a step back last night with their 98-86 loss to the Hawks. Flip Saunder criticised how the Wolves "took one step back" as a team. He credits the loss to the fact that the Wolves didnt make the extra pass and play unselfishly.

Injury Report - Sprewell who is out with a sore Achilles' tendon had a good practice on Monday. he is questionable to return to the line-up on Friday against the Indiana Pacers. Wally Szczerbiak (plantar fasciitis) and Michael Olowokandi (knee) also did some light work in practice on Monday. Hoiberg left the game last night after getting kicked in the heel durng the third quarter. Troy Hudson left as a percaution after colliding with Jackson.

Intersting Fact - There were six technicals and 57 personal fouls called in the game.

Only good things that happened this game was KG got a double double and that the back up guards for the Timberwolves got some much needed game experience.

They had the lead, but they just gave up after a while. It's only preseason though, so we shouldn't worry that much.

Yeah, the Wolves look to have a promising season, so let's not freak out now!
