Not at all. the first four words eliminated 17 letters, and most of what was left (QZXVWJ) didn't contribute to any 5 letter words without using the excluded ones. It was a highly logical next step.
I was watching the Today Show this morning and they maintain that playing daily games such as Wordle help keep the brain active and sharp. It is a fun game. https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html
The fam is really getting into this game. We're all doing it daily and comparing results. Lots of fun. I found this game board online and pulled the trigger.
Nah... only kept my attention for about 3 weeks. I think it would be different if I could play multiple times a day.
Thanks for the Waffle tip, hadn't seen that one. I do Wordle, Dordle, Quardle, Octordle, Worldle, and Semantle. Soon I'll be able to waste the entire day doing puzzles. barfo
Wordle's anough for me. About ten minutes to begin the day. I have no idea what those those other games are. LOL
They should be just the same, because they're just guessing more words, but actually that makes it easier (and you get more lines).
Just played semantle for the first time. Took me 39 guesses. I could see that that game would drive me nuts.
Quordle and octordle are fun, and they have practice options, which allows multiple games daily. I like that.
If you enjoy music try out Heardle ... some are really easy to nail, others leave you racking your brain trying to figure out the name of a tune you've heard a thousand times and then others are completely unknown and make me feel old.
