That Poland-Germany game was very exciting, but what a freakin bummer for Poland after the great job they did this whole game. It really sucks for them. Their goalie was spectacular today.

That game was extremely exciting, Germany had bad luck the whole game and missed 2 goals tha that hit the pole, what a game. Just goes to show you that you always have to play good defense, look what Austrlia did to Japan and now Germany.

Wow, did anyone see Germany this morning? In the last 3 minutes with the scores 0-0, Neuville scores the winner. Absolutely brilliant. I woke up 6 in the morning to watch it.And ballack sucks.

If germany plays like they did this game bye bye germany in the second round.

They had lots of chances to score but kept slightly missing, if they keep playing like that I can see them making the semis at least.

I can't believe it. Argentina beat Serbia & Montenegro 6-0! Wasn't Serbia the team that only gave up 1 goal in qualifying? Wow, my friend is going to be pissed. [IMG]

Angola just tied with Mexico. Huge upset. Angola seemed to have their backs against the wall the whole game. They even played half of the second half a man short and STILL were able to hold off Mexico. A lot of credit has to go to their goal keeper though. He played incredible. Wow, great game, Mexico came so close several times, but Angola's defense was truely amazing, they really played their hearts out.

Damn I missed that game, but from what Ive heard Angola played a good game to keep Mexico out of it. I expected Mexico to win 3-1 or something.

Iran/Portugal im not sure who will win this one. Iran played good in the first half vs. Mexico so thats all I know of them and from what I saw they played good. I guess ill root for Iran. :happy0144: Ghana vs. Czech Republic. God, the Czech Republic is so damn good, they are my favorites to win this one although Ill be rooting my ass off for Ghana. I loved the way they played the game vs. Italy. What an effort unfortunately they lost. And finally, US vs. Italy, hard to predict really. You would expect the US to come back strong but they are going against Italy who are a proven team. I say Italy takes this one after a hard fought game and incredible effort by the US.Unforunately im going to be gone most of the day so I wont be able to take in all this soccer tommorrow. [IMG] hopefully ill catch the replays on Univison or ESPN2 or somethin. [IMG]

If that big guy from the Czech Republic is out then maybe Ghana can steal one. :)Melo I'm Iranian. I don't watch soccer just because of that though. I just love sports. I'd watch almost anything.

Its really not, cause by that time you probably have heard the score, and if not highlights and everything are just a mouse click away. Tommorrow though, I will try to watch an uninterrupted replay.

Son of a bi*ch. Man I just started watching the 2nd half with my dad in the Iran-Portugal game, and my dad was just telling me how Iran has played so well defensively in the 1st half. After Decco scores a very lucky goal, and then that dumb ***hole Figo faked an injury to get a penalty kick for Portugal. Renaldo sends it in the goal, and Portugal's up 2-0. I'm getting sick of Iran's crap play...
