    My wife and 2 of my kids went to southern California to watch Ghelsea and Inter Milan play in the Rose Bowl several years ago and my wife makes a comment that she sure is glad no vuvuzelas were being blown around us and then within a minute 3 young kids sit directly behind her with vuvuzelas.

    Oh come on, they've made it 6 times in a row, and the 2026 World Cup will expand to 48 teams. Powerhouses of world soccer Italy and the Netherlands didn't make it this year either. The US won't need automatic qualification.

    People may give us Americans shit, but I can’t imagine us killing Clint Dempsey for an own goal in the group stage of the World Cup let alone the championship. We’d probably forever make fun of him though.
