Approaching 1:am as the game heads to the bottom of the 13th inning. Can't keep my eyes open much longer. Hope the Mets can pull this one out.

Also approaching the 5 hour mark.

The Royals are just one of those never go away type of teams. You have to pile on the runs because they don't quit and can beat you in many ways.

...yup...reportedly, although he's helped Granderson, Murphy, and others, he should still be considered a failure because Granderson didn't hit well vs LHed pitchers in only 143 PAs....even though he had 539 PAs against RHed pitching in which he amassed a.280 .388 .504 .892 slash line and became a solid leadoff hitter.
...Murphy also points to Long for his recent success.

...evidently Long should be blamed for the Yanx' failure last year, but should not be given credit for the success of the Mets...exactly how does that work?

That was a doozy of a ball game, glad I don't live on the East Coast. Those 1 am games, were hell to pay, when one has to get up early to go to work.....

Long has 1 World Series Ring, 09, and Yep, I'm not sure how that works??? LMAO...!!!

Give credit where credit is due...
Kevin Long, for the 3rd straight year!
    2015 Mets:
    ~ 17th in scoring MLB
    ~ 20th OPS
    ~ 28th BA

And this is with Cespedes batting .285, hitting 17 HRs, 44 RBI, .942 OPS for August and September....continuing to have his best season coupled with his time with Detroit where he was ALSO doing very well.
Gotta love that Cespedes trade. Yesiree, it saved Long's ass .... Lmao.
But Grandy did well vs RHP... earth shattering news.

Fortunately the Mets faced a few Cubs' BP pitchers in the NLCS
(Arietta was back to his old Baltimore self in his last two postseason starts, lol),
And they'll be facing a SP staff (KC) which has been getting the sh!t kicked out of them in this post season.
    (5.56, playoffs)

Without deGrom or Harvey, the Mets would've finished out of the money while still having those less than mediocre team batting stats compared to the rest of MLB.

Long's "teams" have been consistent the past three years.

Murphy = in walk year, playing for biggest last contract?
    Nah

Aw shucks, I forgot to give Kevin Long a box of chocolates.
