Yeah Rick I didn't think it was a good idea to throw over Escobars head. I think it lit a fire in their asses.

My goodness....although this game is a long way from being over, I'm already very impressed with the Royals TONIGHT.
Jeez, Mets' # 3 SP is throwing 98-99 and snapping off good curveballs yet this KC lineup has already touched him up for a small bunch of hits and 3 runs after two innings.

Ventura (#3 SP) also has excellent stuff and could be the difference maker in this being a "short" series or a whole new series.

Very impressed with this KC team.....yet I still feel if, if, the Mets break through and win this game, the series could get very interesting.

Two run homer by Grandy, Ventura is now the one getting roughed up.

Syndergaard looks like he's settling in a bit.
This game looks like a championship boxing match with both fighters taking big hits in the early rounds....get the feeling one of them isn't going to last long.

Get the feeling KC "better" win game 4 if they want to win this series?
Harvey due to pitch in game 5....deGrom in game 6.

The road is going to get very tough for KC.

    Syndergaard (#3 SP) tonight- 6 IP, 3 R, 6 K, vs a good hitting team.
The Mets' SP rotation is like a relentless machine.
The wheel just keep turning and churning.

KC SP better bring their best stuff or the Royals will be fortunate to win another game. IMHO
I do realize they've played just three games so far.
