......Mets were able to beat Kershaw and Greinke in LDS scoring 3 runs in each game by virtue of deGrom.
    (and their fine closer Familia).
Harvey gave 7 IP 2 ER in his start vs LA's #3 SP which also gave the Mets an excellent chance to win...which they DID.

The longer 7 game series (WS) should favor (imo) the Mets' better deeper pitching staff even more vs KC's SP group.

Appears to me, at least two of KC's SP BETTER step up and pitch very good games or in the words of Yogi (sorta).... it gets late very early around here......for KC.

...none of those teams even lost 3 in a row, but whatever. The fact is that the vast majority of SBs are blowouts but that doesn't mean the losing team was not also a very good team.

...the point is, the Bills were unfairly labeled as "chokers" even though they were great teams.

One of the very best games ever televised, (other than the Heidi Bowl, of course) was that 92 Season's Wild Card Playoff game, on Jan. 3rd 1993. I could of swore that game was played in Houston, but it wasn't, it was in Buffalo......

Reich takes back the game after a halftime 28-3 Houston Lead, followed by a 35-3 lead in the early 3rd Quarter, when the Oilers scored again. The rest is History, Buffalo and Reich claimed the WC. 41-38........and 3/4ths of the TV Viewing audience turned the channel at Half-Time.......

...being a Raiders fan I remember the Heidi game vividly...for whatever reason my local TV station did not switch and I got to watch the incredible ending to the game. Raiders scored 2 TDs in 9 seconds to beat the Jets in Oakland.

...the Raiders' field was painted so cool back then.

Bills did earn the right to be called "chokers" just by finding a way NOT to win at least ONE Super Bowl in four straight attempts but if we want to look closer....Jim Kelly.

I like Kelly and glad he's doing okay with his health problem.
    In four Super Bowls:
    2 TD, 7 INT
Highest QB rating in any Super Bowl was 81.5 and wasn't higher than 67.1 in any of other three. Comes up very small for a Hall of Fame QB.

And of course, just for good measure, Norwood missing a 47 yd FG ATT in the closing seconds.
Kelly's bad SB numbers is one of the better kept "secrets" in Super Bowl history........and of course he had help in losing all 4 Supe Bowls....

Yes- IMO, they earned the right to be called "chokers".....
Losing back to back Super Bowls is one thing...losing FOUR IN A ROW is absurd.
