It was announced on SmackDown! that Christian will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred Match at SummerSlam. Christian vs. Orton is the first official match for the SummerSlam. It was also announced on RAW that a battle royal will take place the following week to determine the No. 1 contender to Divas Champion Kelly Kelly.
