A team that can't shoot the three shoots 50% because we are unable to understand defensively that the NBA is now built around it - AND that Kyle Korver and Jae Crowder are unable to do much else THAN shoot the three ball. I cannot take more of Stotts.

What an embarrassing game. The entire team should be in hiding for awhile. Worst thing is they have to play this same team again on Christmas Day in Utah.

I'm a Duck fan too....but have been referring to Stotts as Helfrich-like for years. A great coordinator who is a really nice guy that is NOT a good head coach.

yep....he even did a good job of managing games when he had Mariota. But he lost the edge in recruiting and that killed the Ducks. And he hired two disastrous defensive coordinators....gawd they were horrible

And the Duck basketball team had another sucktastic performance. It's a great time to be a U of O fan. Both football and mens' BBall are based on empty braggadicio about recruiting, instead of actual performance. SMH.

Whst the heck are you talking about? The football team beat the Pac-12 champion, were minutes away from beating Stanford and made a New Years Eve Bowl. And that was despite having chewed up offense line and the single worst receiving core I've ever seen in my life!

And I think the recruiting braggadicio is deserved when it's the single greatest recruiting class in school history.

The basketball team is going nowhere but compared to where Helfrich left it.... The football team is fine.

Blame zoning laws. Claymore mines not allowed in residential areas? What sort of commie BS is that?

We’ve been on the other end of this. Blowing out Jazz on their home floor last year, blowing out 2013 Spurs in their home floor, blowing out Lakers 106-77 in game 2 of 2000 WCF, their worst home playoff loss ever.

Live by the 3 die by the 3. I thought we had more blowouts then 5 (16 or more points) maybe it just seemed like it because when I see scores like this I think of a cellar team, not a team over .500.

I think if you post it " Claymore Mines in use" around your property it is legal.

I'm curious, has any other team suffered 2 worse losses this year? Losing 2 games by a combined 70 points is not confidence inspiring that this is anything more than a mediocre playoff team. ..AGAIN.

Same. This Team gives me absolutely fucking nothing. I'm really frustrated man. Before the Season i had hopes we would see more Ball movement, more Assists etc. But it's the same team as last year, CJ can do whatever the fuck he want's to do, and that motherfucker Stotts let him do whatever he want's. Look at the Jazz, they had 35!! Assists last night, they know how to share the Ball and are playing Team Basketball, and they have a Elite Defense which is important for Playoffs success, what do we have? So enough crying have a good day fams

Maybe it's pertinent to note how a more successful team reacts to a home loss. Stevens pulled Tatum twice during the game for taking bad shots. And there was a team meeting after the game despite the fact that they had won 8 of 11 and had three rotation players (including Horford) out with injuries. They talked about not being selfish and working for better shots.

I can see the town meeting now.

"Mr Oldmangrouch for the 358th time we cannot allow you to bury mines under your front lawn."

"I don't have to bury them"

    "IT CANNOT BE ALLOWED"

Yes they do. Warriors lost by 30 at home to Spurs with healthy roster including Kevin Durant in 2016. Warriors lost by 30 & 40 to Jazz last year. Spurs lost by 30 to us in San Antonio in 2013 and still made it to the Finals. 72-10 Bulls got shellacked by the Knicks by 30. 73-9 Warriors got destroyed by us in 2016. 2000 Lakers lost to us at home by 29 in the WCF and still won the series and the championship.
