  2. Fuck yeah!

  3. There is no way that such a trade would be possible without trading half the roster

I'd give CJ a piggy back ride and walk him to Sacramento for Cousins. Is this real life?

I MIGHT trade CJ for Boogie, but only if...
    1) Boogie says he'll re-sign.
    2) We also get Gay
    3) We have exhausted all other non-CJ options.

Really, our first priority is to see how good of a player we can get for non-CJ/Dame Blazers.

If we do land Cousins, the absolute last thing I want him doing is leading anything. Look where that's gotten SAC. I'd want him FOLLOWING Dame's lead.

I can see Okafor. Not sold on Monroe for the defensive shortcomings you mentioned.

Okafor has very similar defensive shortcomings as Monroe.

No matter the deal offered by the Kings. I would not trade for DMC.
I believe anyone who wants DMC, doesn't get to watch him often enough to see what he does on the court that hurts his team on both ends.
The early season matchup with Portland was a prime example of why DMC is the main factor to the Kings being a loosing organization.
But the Pro-DMC people will ignore what he did late in that game that directly led to the Portland win.
Nevermind the cancer he is to the Kings lockeroom.

I was ready to take a chance on Cousins, hoping that Dame and team would be able to keep him in line. But watching that video of him leaving the nightclub with that douche bag Barnes...I'm having second thoughts.

barns has always been a total cock. I think DMC's attitudes and actions directly reflect the people around him. as said many times over, you put a guy like that around dame and cj for extended periods and I think you see a flip in they way he carries himself.

    dude what?
last I checked cuz was the reason that game went to OT, then he was the reason they stayed close in OT. and they had not one, but two chances at taking the lead or tying the game for a second OT.

    video for reference

That Lillard guy is pretty good.

CJ missed Harkless on a fast break in regulation that might have sealed the game.

That foul on Dame on the slide was straight up NBA ca 2000-2002 rigged playoffs level bullshit.

There isn't a person outside of Portland, or maybe Ohio, that thinks CJ is better than the All-NBA, All-Star, completely dominating, 29 point, 10 rebound, Demarcus Cousins.

We would be lucky to get Cousins, for CJ. The only reason they would ever do that, is because they don't want him to leave like Aldridge, left us.

Cousins, makes Aldridge, look like a fucking scrub.

And the reason why we won't give up CJ is because we don't want Cousins to leave us like Aldridge did.

    That's a valid concern.

I think a Dame/Cousins duo, would be so good, he wouldnt want to leave.

That would arguably be the best duo in the NBA for the next 5 years.

    The other top duos:
    Steph/KD
    Lebron/Kyrie
    KAT/Wiggins? - maybe next year.

It sucks that both the cavs and warriors could have multiple duos in that list.

None of that matters. The only stat that counts is he was +1 in his last game. He's no Allen Crabbe.

Hey, you know who else was +1 in his last game? Meyers Leonard!

Quick, Neil get Vlade on the phone.

Do you honestly think it's just a coincidence that Meyers got his first start of the year against SAC? Can you say "showcasing"! In that game: Meyers = +2, Boogie = -1. Maybe we can get them to throw in a future 2nd round pick to even things out.
