Not to mention that Cunningham/Ivey/Bey/Stewart/Duren sounds like a really nice core for their rebuild.
Just rearranging words and assigning meaning to them individually doesn't make it so. Pippen was an aging star, not a role player. "Glorified" on its own might be a good thing, but combine it with "role player" and you've got someone who's mediocre but considered to be much more impactful. I expect Grant will be a small step above Aminu/Harkless/RoCo/Nance, but paid like someone several tiers up.
I saw an article saying the French center they picked at 46, was one of the best picks in the second round. It sounds like we didn’t do our homework. Would much rather have made that pick ourselves and stashed him over seas, instead of trading it for a second rounder two years from now.
I believe @Scalma was touting Kamagate as someone he really wanted the Blazers to draft in the second round.
100% Duren. I think those who think we are close to contending now are delusional. we need a top pick in the draft each season for the next 3-4 seasons atleast and draft generational talent to content. Love Dame but there is no way we will be close to winning anytime soon.
Think it through more... Look at where both Sharpe and Duren were projected to go next year if they hadn't reclassified.
I mean, if they want to argue semantics for the sake of it, one of them said 8 years old and the other said 10. One of you is wrong too. Suck on those semantics.
