Not straight across anymore but I would if we got someone like Sullinger in addition and gave up Claver or Freeland or something along those lines.

Basically we would have to win the deal for me to consider it. No straight across swap.

I wouldn't do it, but there's zero doubt that pre-injury, Rondo is by far the better player. In 4 years, Lillard may well be better than Rondo was at the start of this season.

There's no guarantee that Rondo would be the same caliber player anywhere but Boston. He basically learned the NBA game there with Pierce and Garnett.

The win is in growing Lillard through his rookie contract to a franchise player. If he steps up his game the next two seasons, he's going to be a top 3 PG. I wouldn't bet against him.

You know whats funny is that if Rondo was a Blazers and Lillard was a Celtic and even if Lillard was the one who blew out his knee I'm sure most fans would still say NO.:biglaugh:

I almost feel like Rondo's torn ACL is karma for being such an asshole.

    I wouldn't if I was a Blazer fan.

As to Rondo's shooting, hes developed a pretty damn good mid-range shot recently. I wouldn't write off his 48% from 16-23 as an aberration. That shot has been improving steadily for him for a while now and if you watch him play you'd see him hit it regularly.
