    Bump.

I can see Philly or Orlando being interested. I absolutely would do a Ben Simmons for Lillard swap - but I don't think Philly would. But what if they offered Noel and an unprotected pick?
What if Orlando offered E. Payton and an unprotected pick?

Who else has a pick that's very likely to be top 3? Boston, I guess (Brooklyn's) but they don't need Lillard. The sad fact is that our best player isn't that interesting to quite a lot of teams given the profusion of good PGs.

    Still think that's funny?
No way Denver would do that trade now.

Yes that's still funny. Mudiay is hot garbage and Jokic had a month or two of good games.

We would need to get a very high caliber player in return - but I don't think other teams would offer them up.

If we are currently shedding salary and tanking for better draft picks - then I think we should do it all the way, in what is considered a strong draft.
We should cut ties with Lillard and Stotts - we are never going anywhere playing this style of Basketball.

Not saying that, just saying that a star who's going to average 25+ ppg for his 2nd straight year isn't worth trading for a guy who's only played at a high level for a couple months

Sure i'd trade him. I don't think your deals are even close to his value though Rasta.
I take that back Ben Simmons for Lillard is a close deal but i'd still not take that as Simmons hasn't played a single game in the NBA and already has a major injury.

No. I think this is some stupid narrative that is going around that we have to trade one or the other and we really don't. They are surrounded by guys who aren't that great and obviously Neil and the organization sees the obvious issue here. Only CJ and Dame are untouchable according to insiders. You surround Dame and CJ with defensive players, a decent 3rd option and watch how this team does. I know defensively dame and cj are an issue but their offense more than makes up for it. Put TALENT around these two and you are good, that's what they will do hopefully next season, watch how much better the team is

Capslock ftw! Simmons was a very hyped #1. We are talking KAT hype and from what he showed in college, amazing ball handling and court vision that you just don't find in SF not named Lebron, the only real thing Simmons didn't do was shoot but every other facet of his game speaks volume of the player he will become in the NBA. Simmons has the potential to be top 5 in the NBA at some point in his career, Lillard does not.

Kawhi Leonard or Anthony davis would be the only I would consider and I would keep Dame at PG but that's not gonna happen. The fans just wanna turn on any good player that stays on this team. Even if we had Kawhi, people would shit on him in some form

Ben simmons will never be a top 5 player, quote me on that. Lillard is a top 10 player.

I don't think Lillard is a top 10 player and why do you not like Simmons?

I like simmons game, I just don't think he will amount to that type of player. He could be a top 10 player. I just think him not being able to shoot will really affect his career long term
