I wouldn't cut him, I'd at least try to swing a trade for the Alligator Skin Man, or the Bearded Lady
Exactly in the same way Rudy supposedly has. He doesn't like his role, sees his team going nowhere, unhappy with the way his coach limits his game, and asked to be traded. Hmmm, maybe Rudy is simply a good guy with incredible talent and the headcases are the fans who turned on him.
I'd do that trade (LMA for Anthony), especially if he signed an extension. Denver wouldn't. I agree about Oden. We should all be suing him for being a bust who will never amount to anything. He should really just retire. And then NBA should give us back the pick. So we can take someone new, like Noah. Or Horford. Or one of the other many hundreds of players who the Blazers passed over and were well known to be superstars in training!
Cept that Rudy isn't unhappy because he sees his "team going nowhere". He sees his ROLE on the team going nowhere.
Teams don't trade their superstars to another team in the same division. It just doesn't happen. We aren't getting Caramello.
Note: I said, if Carmelo were to agree to a "sign and trade!" He would then make enough money for the trade to happen.
Carmelo is a punk and I want no piece of that guy especially for just a year before he leaves to New York and not win in the playoffs. When I think of Melo I remember him getting into a fight with Jared Jefferies and then back peddling half a court while big guys helped him out
