I like watching Mick Foley in a hard core match. I dont care if he gets his ass kicked or not - if Mick Foley is in it, it's guarenteed to be good.

There can be stiff matches, where there's actual punches/kicks. That's really common in Japan. WWE has gone away from that in the recent years and you get the stuff you see on TV nowadays. Still doesn't take away one blown spot or miss from being paralyzed or seriously injured. A simple table spot went awry this past week on ECW. Holly ended up having a 14 inch gash on his back.

^ :HAHAHA: I didn't even notice that quote. Good job pointing it out. Invasion angle was crap, WWF made the Alliance jobbers and ruined the whole angle. You couldn't take any of it seriously.

It was ridiculous and funny sometimes but not much else.

<span style="font-family:Book Antiqua">One of the dumbest story lines was the one last year about Eddie Guerrero (RIP) being Rey Mysterio's son's father. It was such a sad storyline.. However, Eddie Guerrero made it entertaining. He was a good actor.</span>

The only thing fake about wrestling is that they know who is going to win the match (although that changes a lot leading up to the matches) and the storylines. The pain is real, the training is real, etc. Wrestling is just as physically demanding, if not MORE physically demanding, then any other sport out there. These guys work YEAR-ROUND, and that in itself is just amazing.</div>Thank you! One smart post here.

You can't write off wrestling in WWE, ECW, TNA, ROH, NOAH, AJW. There's a entertainment aspect of course, opposed to MMA, Olympic style wrestling. But wrestling nonetheless.

Just wanted to note since Blaze had posted in here. Must have been a rough night for you on UFC. Short Fuse and Shamrock go out in first round. I'm glad Shamrock finally hung it up. Great career but it went over as usual with competitors in any sport. Only a select few give it up when their on top. But damn, almost identical to their 2nd fight. Glad it was on cable, not ppv. Team Punishment had a good showing.

Yeah I was pretty upset, but Ken's a hero to me, and a MMA Pioneer & UFC hall of famer. He has done lots for this sport, he buried the hatchet, and he's happy. I don't feel all too bad. As for Fuse, he'll definitely be back. But I loved his heart, and he had two underhooks and got that reversal, it was sick. Too bad he got caught in the triangle. Anyways, Team Punishment is revamped for sure. I give it up for Tito, he's matured.

I admit I watched a TON in like 4th grade and stuff and then after awhile it became pretty lame. This year I've kind of been watching every monday night raw .. or at least the main event. John Cena isnt a fag man, hes pretty patriotic outside of wrestling scripts.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>just watch these highlights from ROH</div> ROH is hard to for some to view because it's such a low key company compared to WWE/TNA. A lot of them are coming up to WWE or TNA and being wasted imo. Kings of Wrestling/Colt Cabana recently got tryouts, despite being watered down, I hope they make it and get sent to the ECW Brand. They deserve to get paid.

I think I watched WWE when some guy took the Big Show and slammed him through the ring, and the ring broke. That was pretty impressive. Other than that, I don't remember anything, and I haven't really watched it since.

I just get a kick out of DX. :lol:Any way, I believe that he put the Undertaker threw the ring. Correct me if I am wrong there. I use to watch it a lot when Stone Cold was there, but after he left. I kinda stopped. Also, John Cena is the sh*t! [IMG]
