Thx didn't realize bbref had salaries. Wallace got paid a lot less then I thought he did, his only big contract coming from the bulls.

Wait, how did Wallace get a 6 year and a 3 year deal on the same day in 2000?

Was never for Kamen over the last couple years when people brought him up, but I actually think hill fills a very specific need we have, low post bench scoring. Couple him with Freeland or T-Rob for defense and you have a second unit that can mock the first with a reliable scoring threat on the block that initiates the offense. Bench scoring, or lack thereof, has been our Achilles heel and I think Kamen can add that missing element to help make our second unit successful.

It's a good thing I wasn't holding my breath on the Blazers getting Hawes or Monroe. ;)

Of the scraps left over, I'll take Kaman and figure out the rest later. I think he's a pretty good fit.

@WojYahooNBA: On choosing Clippers, Spencer Hawes tells Yahoo that he asked himself: "What would my 12 year-old self have done?" http://t.co/Uxa4tC99EC

It's okay we don't need a 12 year old, we need grown men.

Leave it to a 12 year old to think that the clippers situation is definitely by and far better than the Blazers situation. Would love to match up against them in playoffs and knock them out.

For us fans this'll make it an even more interesting matchup. Crawford lobbied for the Clippers to sign him while playing for the Blazers. Olshey was clippers gm. Hawes is from NW but picked clippers over us for identical contract while he was our #1 target. Hawes will play backup minutes against long time clippers center Kaman.

I still hate the Rockets the most. Lakers have a special place of hate in all our hearts. Zombie Sonics killed our little brother of a franchise, our only partner in the NW. Clippers might be next on the list.

Didn't think of all of those! Good thinking man, should be great story lines when we play them.

I know he's joking but I don't like that move by him, he should step in and switch his number no questions asked as to show his new team he knows where his place is.

    Could be bad for chemistry...

Hawes starts with each new team, searching for Democratic teammates to argue with. So it doesn't surprise me that he starts with the Clippers in wrestling mode with his rival teammate.

He's obnoxious and bad for team chemistry.

I hope Kaman schools Hawes next season and we sweep the Clippers

Wouldn't that be cool. Blake laughs it off but thinks who is this guy. Then Hawes comes into the locker room challenging all democrats. I don't see Blake having strong opinions but maybe someone like CP3 or a Crawford has opinions on politics and Hawes jumps all over one of them with radio talk language that pisses off a teammate. At that point Blake was just itching to get into it with Hawes . . .

Far fetched I know . . . but fun to think about. Politics brings out a lot of strong emotions out some.

I have to admit I don't really care about losing out on Hawes.

At the point someone like Deng has to settle for the MLE while the Blazers can only watch and weep - then I will want to punch Olshey in the ovaries.

Oh please he would have fit great on this team. Paul just doesn't want to give up on Leonard yet. Remember that word Potential might creep up on us again.

That ain't it. The General Manager didn't deliver. It's simple as that BG.

First time I've heard that Leonard is a Paul Allen favorite. Olshey's reputation is staked upon his draft choices, but he wants to dump Leonard, but Allen is overruling him.

    Hmm.
