Man i Hope Moe3 is healthy and has a better Season than last year. I never want to see that Harkless from the 1st part of last Season again. He looked as if he did care about the Blazers and i guess he did not wanted to be in Portland, but then something changed and he played muuuuch better and i Remember the Game Winner from Lillard in Phoenix where Harkless even showed emotions:D not Nurkic, not Seth or not Collins will be the key for a good/succesfull Season, the real X-Factor for this Team was allways Harkless. When he plays Good this is a good Team, it's not a fluke we had that 13 Game winning streak when Harkless played like an All Star. I Hope we See the good Moe3 over a Full Season

The problem is Moe is now entering his 7th NBA season and has never been able to put together an entire season (or even half a season) of top level play. He clearly has the talent to play well - when he feels like is, but he is just as likely (more likely) to sulk and disappear than he is to show up and play motivated basketball.

Will this be the season he FINALLY puts it all together? Of course, I hope it is, but I'm not counting on it. Because if there is one thing I have learned about Moe Harkless, it's that you can't depend on him. I thought last year was going to be it, the year he finally put it all together, but instead, his performance for the first 52 games of the season was absolutely disgraceful. Sure, he was great during the 13-game winning streak, but we need more than 13 good games a year from him. In hindsight, with him absolutely sucking for the first 52 games and then missing the end of the season, it's a wonder we were able to win 49 games. He only scored in double digits 13 times all season and only 9 of those games were wins. We need a hell of a lot more than that from our starting small forward.

If we were to get good Harkless for a whole season, we'd win 60 games.

We were so good, winning at will, until Dame had his kid. Then Mo went down and that was it.

Yeah, labor is exhausting and hard on the body, but Dame looks like he's lost the baby weight and will be ready to go on opening night.

There's not and cold streaks man. "We could've been good because of the hot streak" is just as plausable as "We could've been bad because of the cold streak".

Gotta look at the whole picture.

I know Harkless is a good guy but I don't know why people are still so high him. Every season it's like fans get really excited over the potential of the guy only to be let down later on.

Whew. I was worried we couldn't compete without his 7 points and 4 rebounds as a starter.

I really hope we can find a legit starting SF so I don't have to watch Hark keep pulling his disappearing act.

Now that Old Reliable Ed Davis is gone, we depend upon Harkless to sub at PF.

    Just a random thought.

What if Mo on the second unit doesn't just fit him better but it actually lets him relax and builds his confidence? I've always thought that Mo struggled mentally under the pressure he had on the first unit especially with the way Dame and CJ dominate the ball. Mo is certainly the best SF on the team and probably should start but it almost seems like he is enjoying the increased ball movement and opportunities to all 5 players on the second unit. Mo thrives on ball movement, his ability to cut to the hoop and also his understated knack for getting position under the rim and posting up pretty much anybody he wants. All things he can get even more of on the second unit against lesser defenders. Besides that Zach and Mo together on the defensive end is pure gold! I watched Mo specifically yesterday on a replay and was amazed at how much he does defensively that doesn't end up on a stat sheet. Between denying his man the ball, knocking the pass out of their hands and just getting into really good defensive position, he is seriously underrated league wide. I look forward to watching the second group as much and sometimes more than the starting five.

On the flip side, Jake could benefit from the second unit for some of the same reasons. I am absolutely confident Jake the snake puts it together this season!

So many options to enjoy this year!
