They never voted for it. You said it's a republican plan. I don't think they even brought it up for a vote. You can believe what you will, but look at the facts sometime.
That's government health care any way you do it. Too big and lots of issues. At least you should focus on care and not transferring money from the taxpayer to large insurance corporations. And then you go posting about how care focused treatment works (Kaiser).
and you complain about money transferred to an insurance company that came up with a program that focuses on care and is working? inconsistent at best.
Yes, I think the health providers should charge for their services. The insurance companies should offer products that people will want to buy, or fail. I'm fine with them failing.
They fucking wrote it. But it's not their plan since they played politics and voted against it? Again... Weaksauce...
"They" did not. Heritage Foundation is not "the republicans" and it's not even the whole Heritage Foundation likely behind it. All sorts of think tanks devise all sorts of policies that never see the light of day. Heritage is a think tank.
You're also proving me right. It doesn't say what you think it says (you think it's a republican plan of some kind).
The Heritage foundation is not the republicans.... Jesus Denny... Who is Paul Weyrich Denny? What did he do? Your Cognitive dissonance is strong...
What elected office does Paul Weyrich hold? You need to look in the mirror regarding this dissonance thing.
Lobbyists would rather not hold elected office. They get to shape policy without having to be voted in. AND... They get paid millions to do it...
This^^^! This corruption must be eliminated as it is nothing but overhead burden that has nothing to do with healthcare.
I see more referrences to wanting a VA like system for everyone. Whether a VA like system or any other system concocted by the Federal government, be very cautious of which you ask. I just got word from the VA today. They have not scheduled me for tests in Roseburg because they do not have a Cardiologist at that hospital. Although the Veterans Choice program has been funded by congress, it still does not work for me because it is a little misleading. The veteran can use a local facility if he "lives" forty miles or more from any VA facility, rural clinic or what ever. It doesn't matter if they can perform or not. That works for whom, I am not sure? On the positive side, they do have a Cardiologist in Eugene! Yeah! On the down side, he is a little busy, I am sort of on the list for November. They will get back to me with when in November. I was advised, I could move up as they expect cancellations to occur between now and then. I don't think I would throw my full weight into pulling for this sort of system. Think about it. Ah screw it! MarAzul is heading to sea next week.
And with republican house, senate, and W in the oval office, it was voted on when? If it wasn't voted on, it was rejected and didn't shape policy at all.
I'll be damned! The North Bend VA clinic decided to do the EKG themselves today. I guess they found the machine. It went real quick, the Tech nurse said it was perfect, I should become an Old man. err, ok. Still have to wait on Eugene for something though.
Government health care works! It has the MarAzul stamp of approval, the only thing that was holding this up before.
I had to wait 6 months to see a neurologist. General practitioners in this area aren't taking new patients. To see my general practitioner, I have to make an appointment at least a week in the future. And our waiting times are better than for the socialized medicine countries.
But wait. What about those of us who don't want universal health care and believe it is a step towards socialism? Why would I, who tries to take good care of my health, want to pay inflated rates for someone who prefer to eat McDonald three times a day and snack on cheetos on the couch in between? Should government really be in the business of health care? It will just become another blind blanket job where the few responsible have to pay for the many irresponsible...
