Time for Taker vs. Kane. Are the Tag Titles even going to be defended tonight? Gotta say it'd be strange if they didn't, considering every title is SUPPOSED to get defended. Hmmm....
Kane retains the title after reversing Taker's Tombstone in to one of his own. I'm sucking now, 2-3 in predictions.
Well, the Tag Titles are being defended in a Tag Team Turmoil match. The teams in it are: The Hart Dynasty Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre Evan Bourne and Mark Henry The Usos Santino and Koslov Harts and Usos starting it off. I have a hunch the Harts won't be winning this match. I'll just go out there and say it's going to be Drew and Cody winning. Either that or Santino and Koslov.
Harts have been eliminated already. On a related note, Tyson Kidd hit an awesome springboard moonsault to the outside on The Usos. I'd like to see him try his hand at singles competition, because I think he could be pretty awesome. Usos eliminate Koslov and Santino. Henry and Bourne up next.
Six Pack Challenge underway, and Jericho is the first to get eliminated after getting hit with an RKO.
Everyone looks uber-stunned about this elimination. There was literally nothing happening for about 2 or 3 minutes after he was eliminated.
Cena is gone after Barrett hits Wasteland on him, largely thanks to Nexus coming out for a distraction.
And we're down to Sheamus and Orton. Nexus attempted to interfere against Orton, but Cena nailed a couple of them with chairs and Orton hit an RKO on the rest of them, including Barrett.
Well, no Miz, gotta say I'm somewhat shocked about that. As it is, pretty solid PPV, far better than Summerslam. All the matches were pretty solid. The Tag Titles match and Women's Title match were both pretty blah, and Show vs. Punk wasn't much either, but that was expected. The Women's division can't put on a good match to save their lives, and the Tag Title match was made today, so you couldn't have expected much of it. Beyond that, the WWE doesn't care about that division, and it might be better to just get rid of it all together if they're not going to put any effort in to it. Taker vs. Kane was really good, and I'm pretty shocked Kane won. I think it makes sense for them to have a rematch at Hell in a Cell here in two weeks, because I think this feud is far from over. Plus, I mean, c'mon, Taker can't be washed up this quickly. I imagine he'll get his rematch, beat Kane and take back his "powers" at HOC. The Six Pack challenge was good, though nothing really surprised me about it. I think they could have have done it a little better and spaced out the eliminations a bit better. Jericho getting eliminated abruptly was somewhat shocking, but it makes sense if he's going to be leaving. Edge then got eliminated about 10ish minutes later, and then the last 3 eliminations all happened in a span of 3 or 4 minutes, which seemed a bit hasty to me. The match of the night, in my book, was Bryan vs. Miz. There was a lot of really good back and forth, and those two have some really, really good ring chemistry too. While I don't think Miz is all that great in the ring, I think he and Bryan both bring the best out of each other, and I can't wait to see the rematch from this one.
Mediocre PPV, if anything. Every single match except Kane vs. Taker and the Six Pack Challenge was boring as hell. Kane and Undertaker was good, I didn't expect Kane to win, or at least see Taker get dominated like that in the match. Although I actually somewhat expected Kane to win, he still has a little more to go with his title run. SPC was pretty good as well. If that was Jericho's last match in the WWE, then what a FU to Jericho that was. After Edge and him got eliminated, I didn't really give a shit about anyone else. I really did not want Orton winning. He's boring as shit now. Him as a face, is just no. He doesn't fit the role. I liked him more with Evolution, and his attacks on the McMahon family. Come to think of it, he's not a face nor heel. He's kind of in-between, and once again, he's boring. I would have much rather had Edge take it, and if not Jericho (if he's leaving), Barrett or have Sheamus retain it.
One of the worst pay per views I've ever seen, it was worse than a regular TNA show. WWE has really gone down, no story line, weak ass fights, and its just not fun anymore. Thank god we have TNA on Thursdays now, hardcore style.
Man, am I the only one who thought it was a decent PPV? Over half the matches blew, but I thought 3 of them were pretty good. It was certainly better than SummerSlam in my book (but that doesn't take much).
