Dark Match Braun Stowman defeated Dash Wilder WWE NXT – May 27, 2015: Sami Zayn’s music but Kevin Owens came out instead to his music. Owens said he was going to come out here to issue an NXT Open Challenge, but he is not an insecure person and he doesn’t feel that he has to defend his title against anyone to prove himself. He likes when people earn matches against him. The crowd sings “John Cena sucks,” and Kevin Owens said he has never heard them say Sami Zayn sucks when he does too. He says the fans clap and chant when someone out there recently called him a bad person when that is not true. Owens says he is a good man. He is a good man because that was the last time we will ever have to hear that horrendous theme because of what he did Takeover. He doesn’t understand why people are surprised about what happened when he did exactly what he said he would do. He said Zayn asked for te match and he told Zayn if he showed up he would take him out and he ended up taking him out. He did it so he can keep providing for his family and that is exactly what a good person does. He says when Joe walked out and this place exploded he chose to let Joe live in that moment. He has heads people say he backed down because he is afraid of Joe but that statement is as ridiculous as the color of John Cena’s merchandise. He wanted to give the fans something happy to go home to because of what he did to Zayn because he could have dropped Joe in a snap and if Joe shows up he will drop him just like that. He says at Elimination Chamber he will show John Cena that the champ is here. William Regal comes out and says Kevin is walking a thin line here. Owens said before he says anything, he headbutted Regal because Regal put his hands on Kevin first. Regal said that is the only reason he still has a job and comments on the people Kevin has injured since coming in including Riley, Neville, Itami, and Zayn. Owens denies being involved with Itami and says Zayn made the agreement to the match and Regal made it official so they are the only ones responsible for Zayn. Solomon Crowe comes out and talks about earning opportunities. He says Owens is scared that anyone in the back could beat him which is why he is afraid to put the title on the line like that. He says that part about him being a good guy after seeing what he did to Zayn, he thinks Kevin is a piece of crap. Kevin says that it looks like he just earned himself an opportunity and asks Regal what he thinks. Regal says tonight it will be Crowe vs Owens non-title.
