The Miz gets the show started with some fire! Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are tonight’s MizTV guests, but Owens never actually steps in the ring. Sami gives an account of their 13-year history from Montreal to NXT to the WWE main roster. He challenges Owens to an Intercontinental Title match at Wrestlemania, but Owens blows him off and makes his way to the back where he’s stopped by Neville. Neville says that he also deserves a shot at the belt after the shenanigans Owens pulled on Monday night. Finally, the Miz regains control of his segment to give a fire-breathing promo that hasn’t been heard out of him in months. He mocks the accent of both Neville and Zayn before he tells all three of them to shut up because he was main eventing WrestleMania when they were main eventing bingo halls. Zayn tells him his days of headlining WrestleMania are far gone, and The Miz loses it, setting up a tag-team match between Owens and The Miz against Neville and Zayn. The match does a great job of advancing the Owens-Zayn storyline without them ever being in the ring at the same time. Owens works the beginning of the match with Neville before handing off to Miz. Zayn gains the upperhand on the Miz, and when Owens senses trouble, he grabs his belt and bails. Miz almost gets the surprise pin when Zayn goes chasing after Owens, but he recovers and regains composure to land the Helluva Kick for the victory. Owens looks on from the top of the ramp as Neville and Zayn celebrate. Following a Goldust-R Truth bathroom humor segment and a Raw recap, we’re finally ready for our second match of the night…46 minutes into the two-hour show. Unfortunately, it’s another sophomoric Brie Bella–Lana–Summer Rae segment. Brie avenges her Monday night defeat over Summer Rae with the Yes! Lock as Lana looks on from the outside. As Brie leads some Yes! chants after the match, Summer Rae tries to attack her from behind but Brie sees it coming and plants her with a big forearm. Lana sneaks into the ring and delivers another facebuster to Brie like she did on Monday night.
