Actually, I for one am glad to hear this; http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...rk-yankees-leans-not-competing-home-run-derby Gary Sanchez; https://nypost.com/2018/03/08/one-yankee-says-gary-sanchez-is-like-a-young-manny-ramirez/ Justice Sheffield; https://nypost.com/2018/03/09/yankees-lefty-prospect-gets-sent-to-minor-league-camp/ Adam Lind; https://www.pinstripealley.com/2018...gs-offseason-adam-lind-bird-austin-first-base Mets fans are nearly as obnoxious as Sox fans; http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/b...-park-twitter-fight-yankees-article-1.3863598
Seems like Lind offers consistency. Later in the heat waves of July, he should get a shot for at least a weekend series.
Lind reminds me a bit of Matt Stairs. Both were capable of filling in for position players but could get you a timely blast coming off of the bench. Nix to Yankees in Home Run Derby, put your skills to work helping the team win.
