the night game is absured and yes i agree that there is a point where these outdoor games will reduce the excitement and become boring
I think two is too many, BUT look at the positive dis. We get two free road games. There are more Ranger fans today and will be more against the Isles. So these are "road games" which are at worst neutral site games for us. That is an advantage for us IMO.
Not sure why, but I wanted that badly. BTW...Step is coming on fellas. A lot of credit to Nash for his goals, but Step is getting a lot of points these days.
they had to go over the top to start bringing in talent. yes its a risk..but the devils had no other choice
Yeah, the Devs have to do what they have to do. Overpay to get players to sign there. Just the way it is for them. Too bad.... Let's follow this up with a big effort Wednesday night. I want that W badly. Would make up for the last two games. Nice bounce back after a bad start today. That weak 2nd goal changed the game. I am not a Devil hater, but that is not a good team. Not much scoring talent. And their D is whatever at best. Plus Marty should be a backup now, but he would never allow that. Have to credit DeBoer for getting them to play well above their heads. He is a solid coach. I want to win Wednesday badly...
If I was a goalie in this type of game I'd rather be playing at night. I would think your view of the puck would be better.
I would think so also Mess. Only question will be the angle of the lights, they don't come down from straight above like they do indoors, but I have to assume that will be okay.
As questionable as the conditions are in these outdoor games, THANKFULLY the conditions have gotten MUCH better since then Al...LOL.
They sure are. When they score a goal, they look to score more. Under Torts, if they scored a goal, they would dig in and try to hang on by trying to block 50 shots a game. It wasn't good hockey, IMO
