With the exception of his last 2 at bats he hit the the ball well his first 3 times up. This kid looks like a hitter.
Saw Birds interview on River Avenue, seems to have a great attitude, willing to listen and learn. In addition to spelling A-hole and Bump, he'll probably be a better lefty bat of the bench than dearly departed Garrett Jones. Glad to see these kids come up and get a shot. Now bring up Judge to take care of some outfield problems, Beltran scares the hell out of me in right and Young has been shaky as well.
Starting pitching going 5 innings will eventually take its toll on the relief staff. Starters have own up and go at least 7 so not to put the relief staff into 'cardiac arrest' or worse......DOA. LOL
